Berber Shukara Bags

These bags, undecorated, we’re used by market traders of old.

They were worn across body with the small front pocket used for change, and notes going in the larger folded over section.

Not many remain, but these have been decorated with beads, amber and coins.

They look wonderful hanging up as a decoration, but can only be used as a bag on occasion as they are quite fragile
